Jennifer love those independent Hardware Stores, they have everything, there is one in West Hollywood I love to visit because they have these fantastic candles for my open house to smell right. Also loved your squash and tomato plants:)

Jennifer- I love going to old hardware stores!! When we go to Lawrence KS for a KU game every fall we always stop in at the hardware store there.  They're so much fun to explore.

Hi Endre:

Thanks for visiting my blog.  I love old hardware stores too.  Fortunately this one is still around and doing well, I think it will be here for a long time.  It's definitely a community favorite.

Jennifer,

Renfrow Hardware sounds like a great resource for area homeowners and gardeners. I prefer family-owned hardware store to the big box stores, but they're becoming more difficult to find is my area.

I think you should take credit for the great looking squash or tomatoes.

Thanks for commenting Lloyd.  I'm afraid these type of stores are becoming a thing of the past in many areas.  Even though the original family no longer runs this store we have been very lucky that someone came along to keep the tradition going.
